Shown unstained at left and stained at right this basket is of Tennessee Style construction meaning it has a woven bottom instead of the local style solid bottom.  These are woven by a family that has recently moved away from the local community but ships these beautiful baskets back to us on a small scale so they are only available in limited supply at any given time. It takes quite a while to get more of them in so please plan ahead if you need one or several for a special occasion.  They make wonderful centerpieces when filled with flowers or even a dry arrangement.

While far from being fragile these fully woven baskets are quite light and will not take the abuse you can normally expect our other designs to withstand.  I recommend these more for their aesthetics than for actual everyday use.
